In this connection a meeting of the organizing committee was held here Friday with Regional Development Manager (RDM) of Pakistan Cricket Board in the chair. The meeting was also attended by police personnel, district government, health, Wapda and provincial government representatives.
The meeting has given top priority to the security of the teams besides discussing in detail various measures that have been taken for the smooth conduct of the match. Jan said that they had visited the ground with PCB Senior Curator Haji Bashir and in line with the guidelines of the NWFP Curator, the ground has become in excellent condition.
There are rough patches at the Eid Ghah end which have been filled with grass, he said adding that the hard rolling of the ground was carried out to keep the surface in leveling.
