Fateha offered for Sept 6 martyrs in NA

ISLAMABAD—Fateha was offered in the National Assembly (NA) for the martyred soldiers of September 6 on Wednesday while Opposition stressed that Army must safeguard border of the country rather than impose military dictatorship.
On a point of order, MMA's Farid Paracha said that Army must concentrate on safeguard of border areas to protect people from threats of India rather than focusing on imposing their dictatorship on others.
MQM's Asrar ul Abad told NA that besides army, politicians must play their significant role and work jointly for the interests of the country.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sher Afghan Niazi said that September 6 marks an important day in the history of Pakistan to pay homage to the martyrs who rendered their sacrifices in the defence of Pakistan during September 1965 war.
"We must set aside our petty differences for the welfare of the country", he underlined.
Later, Noor ul Haq Qadiri offered Fateha for the martyred soldiers of September 6 in the NA.
