Sana Baloch tenders resignation from Senate over fax

ISLAMABAD—Senator Sanaullah Baloch of Balochistan National Party (BNP), who is currently abroad has sent his resignation to the party chief Sardar Attaullah Mangal via fax to be submitted with the Senate Secretariat any time, inp learnt Wednesday.
Senator Sanaullah currently in self-exile as his name is in the Exit Control List (ECL) owing to the allegedly involved in stirring unrest in restive Balochistan.
Sanaullah Baloch faxed his resignation in line with the party's decision of quitting from the provincial and national assembly as well as from the Senate in a protest against the killing of the Baloch nationalist leader and chief of Jamhoori Watan Party Nawab Akbar Bugti.
The resignation sent by the Sanaullah will be submitted with the senate secretariat any time, the sources said and added that for the time being there was no one was available to submit the resignation.
Technically the resignation sent via fax is not admitted until it is confirmed by the recipient authority regarding the authenticity through phone, sources in the senate told when approached by inp.—INP
