Govt to provide basic facilities to country's rural areas: Sarwar

ISLAMABAD—Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis, Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Monday said that government is committed to provide all basic facilities to ruralareas of the country in order to change the life of common man.
Addressing a public gathering at Union Council Raniyal,Rawalpindi, the minister said that record development works havebeen completed during the tenure of present government.
He said country's people want development as they did notwitness any outstanding development for the last several years.
He added present government is committed to fulfil all promises and has allocated a huge amount particularly for the development of far-flung areas of the country.
Sarwar said that some opposition parties are playing un-constitutional role by giving threat of resignation from assemblies.
He said that opposition parties are misleading the country's innocent people through political tactics for their petty political gains, however he added they will fail to attract the masses with their resignation's drama.
He said the present elected government will complete its period and fulfil all promises made to the people for their uplift and development of the country.
He said various development projects will be launched in the area of Raniyal which will bring prosperity in the area. Nazim Potohar Town, Raja Hamid Nawaz and Nazim Union Council Raniyal Raja Tariq Mehmood also spoke on the occasion.
