RCCI to elect new body on 16

RAWALPINDI—The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will hold elections for its 11 Executive Committee seats in the mid of this month.
Eleven executive committee members, including 5 full members and six associate members would retire by the end of September 30, RCCI Public Relations Officer (PRO), Qaiser Satti told APP here. To fill these vacancies, the RCCI management has decided to hold elections for the said seats on September 16, he said.
The RCCI has already put on display the final lists of voters and candidates taking part in the elections, the PRO said and added, polling would be held on September 16 and the results would also be announced the same day.
He said, the new elected Executive Committee would elect President, Senior Vice President and Vice President for next year on September 21. The Annual General Meeting of the Chamber would be held on September 23.—APP
