ITP’s educational campaign kicks off
today

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Traffic Police; ITP would initiate an educational
campaign from today, i.e. 10th May through which the masses would be
educated on traffic rules through various workshops, road shows and
pamphlets.
According to details, to educate the masses on traffic rules while
maintaining traffic discipline, ITP is initiating a campaign from today,
10th May. During the campaign, road shows would be organized all over
the city and various workshops about traffic issues would be held
likewise. Lectures would be given out to the drivers of government and
private organizations along those driving public transport vehicles
while the masses at large would also be educated through pamphlets,
banners and announcements with regard to traffic rules.
Moreover, SSP Traffic; Sultan Azam Temuri has said that the basic aim of
the education campaign is to educate the masses on traffic rules and to
maintain traffic discipline, accordingly. He said that any city’s
traffic discipline reflects the city’s beauty, thus urging the citizens
to make full use the said campaign through abiding by traffic rules so
that traffic discipline could in turn be maintained and the Capital’s
traffic system might be able to emerge as a model for the rest.
Cop rewarded for active performance
SSP Islamabad; Sikandar Hyatt rewarded PS Sihala’s ASI Muhammad Tariq
with cash and certificate of appreciation, for nabbing a culprit
involved in car theft instances.
According to details, ASP Rural Circle; Shoaib Janbaz specially tasked
ASI PS Sihala for apprending car thieves’ gang. Thus the cop nabbed a
member of the car thieves’ gang.
SSP Islamabad; Sikandar Hyatt, in appreciation of the effective
performance of the said cop, rewarded him with Rs.2,000 along
certificate of appreciation. |
