8 offloaded for traveling on insufficient, forged documents

ISLAMABAD—FIA Immigration Wing offloaded 8 passengers on separate
flights, headed towards various destinations, at Islamabad Airport, here
this Friday, two of which were sent to Passport Cell where further probe
is underway while the others were told to rectify the error in their
documents before further travels.
According to details, Naveed Hussein S/O Shabbir Hussein, resident of
Rawalpindi, was off to France on flight EK-615 without Residence Card.
Nazir Khan, S/O Shamim Khan, resident of Buneir, was headed towards
Malaysia on flight PK-892 on passport which’s papers were torn off. Thus
the two were offloaded for travelling on incomplete and in fact,
suspicious documents and were sent to Passport Cell where further
investigation is underway.
Irfan Khan, S/O Muhammad Aslam, resident of Gujrat was off to Doha on
flight QTR-399 when was offloaded for not paying the protector fee.
Zafar Iqbal S/O Muhammad Baqsh, resident of Gujrat, on the same flight,
was offloaded for the same reason. Hameeda Begum W/O Mukhtar Ahmad,
resident of Gujrat, was travelling with her son; Shiraz Ahmad who
possessed no visa, thus was offloaded.
Anwar Ali, S/O Liaquat Ali, resident of Peshawar, was off to Dubai on
flight ED-210 without protector. Aziz-ud-din S/O Muhammad Zaheer-ud-din,
resident of Peshawar, was headed towards Germany on flight PK-763 on
visa which’s date of travel remained 4th February 2006. Mehmood Akhtar,
resident of Gujrat was on flight PK-733 to Paris on visit visa but
without return ticket.
Thus the 6 were offloaded and asked to remove the errors in their
documents for further travels.
5 drunkards booked, abducted infant recovered
Officers of Rescue-15, Islamabad booked five persons who were found
drunk on the streets of Islamabad last day. According to the details,
the patrol officers of Rescue-15 found accused Khurram, Naveed, Saqib
Masih, Raja Imran and Raja Khaliq Dad for loitering drunk in the area of
the Police Stations; Aabpara and Secretariat. The accused were shifted
to the respective area police Stations for further necessary legal
action.
Cops, on the other hand, also traced a two-year old infant and handed
her over to her parents. Shahbaz Masih reported to Police Station
Industrial Area, Islamabad that he was coming in from Lahore with his
family and thus booked Taxi#AKA-980 from Faizabad to G-8/1. As soon as
he placed his luggage along his 2-year old infant in the cab, the driver
drove away, leaving him behind. The complainant then contacted the cops.
The information was relayed to the whole district and the cops
patrolling squad of G-8/1 found the concerned vehicle with the infant.
The baby was later handed over to her parents. The complainant
appreciated the help of the cops, at large. |
