Pakistan’s hot and seductive actress Meera has confessed her passion for Yash Raj films. She has been unsuccessful so far with flops like ‘Nazar’ and ‘Kasak’. Ironically, both these films had loads of sensual scenes that have typecast her as a seductive actress. The actress suffered brick batting from the Pakistani media for her kissing scenes in ‘Nazar’. She desires to be a part of “feel good factor” films with the yuppie effect that the Yash banner has traded so far. According to her, the craze for Bollywood movies in Pakistan has considerably increased after ‘Veer Zaara’. The actress desires to work in films that cater mainly to family audiences. In an chat with the media, she has shown interest in working in films similar to Yash’ all-time favorites ‘Chanting’ and ‘Lamhe’ and Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’. The present status of this self- proclaimed “Aishwarya Rai of Pakistan” looks uncertain in Bollywood with her films devastating at the box office.
Meanwhile, Meera whose debut in Bollywood with Nazar, has shifted to Dubai to facilitate her work in India and Pakistan. She said that shifting to Dubai would make it easier for her to act in Indian and Pakistani films. “I have shifted to Dubai because I love that place and it will be easier for me to act in Indian and Pakistani films”, said Meera.
She also denied that after moving off to Bollywood, she would not be acting in Pakistani films anymore. She said she would be going to Australia next month for Javed Sheikh’s movie ‘Khulay Asman Kay Nicahy’, reports the Daily Times.
She however said that she would not disclose the names of Indian films she was acting in, as whenever, she “disclosed the name of an Indian film, the script got stolen”. “I will tell the names of Indian films two months before their release,” she said.
