Another batch of Pak Army peacekeepers off to Sudan

RAWALPINDI—Another Batch of 275 Pakistani peacekeepers felt here from Islamabad Airport to serve under UN flag in Sudan. The Contingent comprised officers and men of Infantry, Engineers, Army Services Corps, Medical, and Aviation.
Commander Corps Signals Brig Waqar Ahmed while bidding adieu to the departing troops wished them a happy stay in the Sudan. He said that Pakistan Army carries a very high standard of professionalism as peacekeepers. He exhorted the troops to maintain those lofty traditions which their predecessors have set while performing under UN hag around the world.
It may he mentioned here that Pakistan Army contingent comprising more than 1300 troops will be deployed under UN flag in Sudan in next one month.
