4 offloaded for traveling on insufficient, forged documents

ISLAMABAD—FIA Immigration Wing offloaded 4 passengers for attempting to
travel on either insufficient or forged documents, on different flights,
off to various destinations, from Islamabad Airport, here this Tuesday.
One was sent to the Passport Cell where further probe is underway while
the other three were offloaded and later released after being told to
rectify the errors in their respective documents, accordingly.
According to details, Muhammad Azam, S/O Zulfiqar, resident of Gujrat,
was off to Madrid with his family including wife; Qamar Bibi and kids;
Aneesa, Muhammad Awais, Zulfiqar, Faiza and Ayesha. On the travel
documents, Muhammad Azam’s name was mistakenly typed as Muhammad Azeem
while son Zulfiqar’s date of birth was also typed wrong. Thus the family
was offloaded and requested to visit the relevant embassy and rectify
the errors in travel documents prior to further travels.
Manzoor Hussein, S/O Karamat Hussein, on the other hand, was wanting to
go on visa which’s date had ended and was on flight PK-769 when was
offloaded and explained that he needed to acquire new visa from the
embassy before travelling further. Muhammad Pervez, S/O Talib Hussein,
resident of Kotli, AJK, on the other hand, was flying to Dubai on flight
EK-211 on visa that contained an unclear passport number. Thus he was
offloaded and told to check the errors in his travel documents for
further flights.
Four arrested, drugs, illicit arms recovered
Capital Cops, in a bid to operate against anti-social elements, have
arrested some 4 culprits while recovering 10 kilos and 200 grams charas
along illicit arms, respectively.
According to details, ps Tarnol’s Sub-Inspector; Muhammad Nawaz, on the
tip of the informer, recovered 5 kilos charas from Sajjad Khan, from bus
stop at the motorway while also recovering 5 kilos and 200 grams charas
from another Muhammad Saeed. The two culprits were arrested and
respective cases registered against the accused.
PS Golra recovered 30-bore pistol along 2 shells from accused Muhammad
Sadaqat from Shah Allah Ditta. PS Shehzad Town, on the other hand,
during routine patrol, recovered a 12-bore gun along 10 cartridges from
Badar Muneer.
SSP Islamabad; Sikander Hyatt, in view of the effective performance of
cop officers, has announced certificates of appreciation for them. . |
