CDA issues intimation letters to 4,500 successful applicants for plots,
flats at I-15
ISLAMABAD—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued intimation
letters to 4,500 successful applicantsfor plots and flats in Islamabad’s
I-15 sector, a CDA official said Monday.
The process of issuing intimation letters to all 13,500 successful
applicants would be completed within next two weeks, the official said.
He said the letters were being issued serial-wise and advised those who
did not receive the letters till January 8 to inform the Authority so
that remedial action could be taken.
The official said the allotment letters would be issued after payment of
all instalments and those who clear instalments before the stipulated
time could be able to get allotment letter at thetime of paying final
instalment. He said after the issuance of allotment letter the plot or
flat could be transferred to anyone after paying transfer charges.
The successful applicants for plots would have three years
forconstruction of houses after getting allotment letter. The financial
bids for awarding tenders for construction of flats and development work
would be opened within a couple of days, he said.
The official said the interested firms had submitted their technical
proposals which were being reviewed by the CDA Board. He said the
Authority had asked the Habib Bank management to speed up the process of
refunding to unsuccessful candidates and they were increasing their
staff strength for the purpose.—Agencies |
