8 arrested, drugs, illicit arms recovered

ISLAMABAD—Capital Cops, while operating against anti-social elements, arrested 8 culprits while recovering drugs and illicit arms, respectively.
According to details, PS Margallah has arrested accused Rabnawaz while recovering stolen TV set worth Rs.10,000. On the other hand, a printer worth Rs.8,000, stolen from Muhammad Naeem Iqbal, has also been recovered from the accused. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
PS Golra, during different operations, arrested 4 accused, respectively. During routine patrol, 110 grams charas were recovered from Asif Mehmood, 250 grams charas from Abdul Majeed and 110 grams charas from Amjad while on the statement of another culprit; Abdul Majeed, 50 grams charas was also recovered. Separate cases have been registered against the accused, accordingly.
PS Tarnol, on the other hand recovered 50 grams Heroine from culprit Fazal Ameen, around Jhangi Saidan while PS I-9 recovered a 30-bore pistol, 2 magazines and 13 shells, from accused Ali Imran, at H-8/3.
SSP Islamabad; Sikander Hyatt has announced letters of appreciation for the officers and personnel involved in the said operations, respectively.
