Additionally, her 11-year-old “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” a cut from her “Merry Christmas” disc, seized the No. 1 spot on the Hot Digital Songs chart from Eminem’s “When I’m Gone.” The Eminem track held at No. 8 on the Hot 100, and his tune “Shake That” featuring Nate Dogg was this week’s hot shot debut at No. 76.
D4L’s “Laffy Taffy” fell one slot to No. 3, ahead of Nelly’s “Grillz” featuring Paul Wall, Ali and Gipp, which rose seven places to No. 4. Nickelback’s “Photograph” slipped one to No. 5, and Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” featuring Jamie Foxx, was down three to No. 6.
The Pussycat Dolls’ “Stickwitu” rose two places to No. 7. The Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps” fell three to No. 9, but remained atop the Hot Ringtones chart, while Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You” re-entered the Hot 100 top 10 with a two-place jump to No. 10. Also new were Christian Castro’s “Amor Eterno” (No. 78); Bow Wow’s “Fresh Azimiz” featuring J-Kwon and Jermaine Dupri (No. 84); Busta Rhymes’ “Touch It” (No. 88); Weezer’s “Perfect Situation” (No. 92); Josh Turner’s “Your Man” (No. 96); and Brooks & Dunn’s “Believe” (No. 97).
Kimberley Locke’s “Up on the Housetop” held steady at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart, while Dierks Bentley’s “Come a Little Closer” regained the top slot on the Hot Country Songs chart from Joe Nichols’ “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.” Christian Castro’s “Amor Eterno” captured the No. 1 spot on the Hot Latin Songs chart, taking over for Daddy Yankee’s “Rompe.” Foo Fighters’ “DOA” reclaimed the throne on the Modern Rock chart, swapping with Nine Inch Nails’ “Only.” Shinedown’s “Save Me” remained No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock tally.
