For marriages are made in Heaven...

The masses living in different parts of AJK like Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Garhi Dobatta, Garhi Habibullah and various other regions, lied unaware of what Mother Nature had in store for them, at the dawn of 8th October. Even after the Earth began to shatter, that instant even, they were totally oblivious to what fate had in mind for them, nor they had got a clue of their future when most of them were brought in the Capital to get treated, with all the media attention focused on them. They might still not be aware of what they’re going to do with the rest of their life but hope has definitely begun to surface, within the pitch black dark for the days they’ve been living through.
Where relief efforts started right after access was reached to the disaster-hit areas as in far-flung affected regions and right away as in the Capital and rehabilitation drive for the quake affectees is still underway, there something was really lacking. Out of homes, out of their regions in fact, the word remained that the young girls were going and returning to relief camps with will, accompanied by suspicious volunteers, at odd hours. As the government had banned adoption of unattended quake survivors, thus the matter of safety of young girls would’ve arisen in the future. Then again, there was always the fear in the minds of fathers of quake affected ladies that who would marry their daughters.
Keeping in view all these factors, the able leadership, slowly and gradually, devised a plan to save the most and as we can see every other day, the quake affectees, in addition to being the apple of media men’s eyes, are seen with ministers and high dignitiaries, administering their marriages within their league, i.e., with other affected individuals of their kind. The quake might have brought the nation or people across the globe, closer but it has also definitely done something delighting. It has definitely saved the day for the quake affectees too, giving them something to look forward to. And they’re lucky for their nuptial bonds are publicized in the local papers, just like the glamour stars!
The quake and it’s aftermath has proven one fact that we do not have any control over our destiny but the fate controls us in a number of ways, without our ever knowing it in most cases. And as they say that marriages are made in Heaven, thus the quake victims have begun to reunite, in the most beautiful of ways!
