Naval Chief returns after successful Malaysian tour

ISLAMABAD—Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir, Chief of the Naval Staff arrived Islamabad on 9 December after completion of successful visit to Malaysia.
The Naval Chief was received at Islamabad International Airport by High Commissioner and Defence Advisor of Malaysia and other high ranking officials of Pakistan Navy. This visit was undertaken on the invitation of Malaysian Chief of Navy to witness LIMA-05 at Langkawi Malaysia.
This offered a unique opportunity not only, to review one of the mega events in defence sector but also to interact with high-ranking officials from across the globe. The Naval Chief expressed his deep satisfaction over the successful tour and hoped the visit would greatly enhance the already existing deep-rooted friendship with this friendly country.—DPR (Navy)
