Tent fire kills 7 of a family in Mansehra

MANSEHRA—Seven people of a family including 4 children were died and one injured when a tent at a tent village set up in the locality of Mansehra caught fire.
The tent caught fire when candlelight fell on it and badly burned nine people of the same family including 4 children. Army officers deployed in the area for quake relief activities immediately responded, reached the scene and controlled the fire and rescued the badly churned family members from the blazing tent.
Three people died on the spot while four expired on their way to Abbottabad and Shinkari hospitals. One of the family members was seriously injured.
The victims were identified as tow daughters of the Abdul Haliq, Saima and Kainat, his two sons Usman and Farhan, wife Gulnar, brother AbduL Qahar and brother wife Makhmal.
The only injured in the incident was the sister of Adul Haliq, Khaleda which also received sever born injuries. After the incident, terror griped the whole area.—Online
