Telenor expands coverage to 160 more destinations

ISLAMABAD—A cellular phone operator in the country - Telenor has now expanded its coverage to 160 cities including M-2 Motorway.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Chief Executive Officer (CE) of the Company, Tore Johnsen said it is not just the pace of expansion but also the quality that matters to us.
He said Telenor has ensured excellent connectivity, superior voice clarity and high performance data services. The CEO reiterated Telenor is now covering 160 destinations including the recently launched cities of Sahiwal, Thandiani,Charsadda, Charsadda - Mardan Road, Wan, Taxila, Kohat, Okara, Khanewal, Mianchunnu, Lahore - Multan Road, Quetta, Jaranwala, Faisalabad -Sheikupura Road, Khurianwala, Shahkot, Mardan,Nowshera, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, GT Road Islamabad - Peshawar, Shinkiari and Balakot.
Telenor will offer all its commercial cellular services through a network of sales and service centers, franchises and several hundred retail outlets on central locations. In all the said cities, customers will be for the first time experience industry-first offers such as Easyload and Unlimited Validity, 2nd minute discount pricing, and international roaming for Saudi Arabia on prepaid.
Speaking about Telenor's prospects in the local market and the customer response, Tore said "we are on the path of fast growth. We want to be the preferred operator for the Pakistani customer and are ensuring that we deliver the most reliable connectivity, the most valuable innovations, transparency in billing, and the highest quality of customer services."
