I’m more motivated by bowling performance: Shoaib

LAHORE—Rawalpindi express Shoaib Akhtar said that he was looking more committed and motivated toward his bowling performance during the on going Pakistan-England Series and promised to deliver more in term of upsetting Ashes winners.
Shoaib Akhtar was talking to reporters at Qaddafi Stadium, a venue to host the third and last Test of the three-test-series Tuesday.

Shoaib Akhtar (30), who so far played 38 tests and got 155 wickets, with his best 6 for 11 and 11 wickets for 78 in the match, said he was utilizing all his energies to play vital role for the team in the tough Series.
He said, the way I had bowled in the first and second test and took 11 wickets, “it would be a different show in Qaddafi Stadium, a venue I love the most,” he added. Taking about Flintoff, the most danger man in England rank, he said,it is just a co-incident that he struck Flintoff thrice.
Shoaib said there was no pressure on the team at all due to the absence of top batsman Younis and Afridi. “We have to stick to our strategy and perform as usual despite their absence” assured Shoiab.
He said that England is bit-tougher side. They could stage a come back in the Test, he predicted. But overall he termed team combination very excellent in important clash and with the key support of the crowd, he loves the most, it would be a different show, Shoaib added.
