APCA, SKB to construct hospital at quake-hit areas

ISLAMABAD—A delegation of All Pakistan Contractors Association (APCA) consisting of Engr. Ahmad Ghazal Usrnam, Chairman APCA/Managing Director, M/s Usmani Associates, Engr. Kinal Nasir Khan, Executive Director, M/s Saadullah Khan and . Brothers (SKB) and Mr. Tauqir Sultan Awan, Chief Executive, M/s Hajvairy Associates called oil Mr. Shatthat Aziz, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman APCA offered 100 bed hospital to be constructed jointly by All Pakistan Constructors Association (APCA) and Saadullah Khan k Brothers (SKB) in Azad Jammu car Kashmir.
Prime Minister accepted the offer and appreciated the, gesture of APCA and SKB for donating the hospital for the treatment and rehabilitation of earthquake affectees and general public. The hospital will be earthquake proof and will be of prefabricated steel structure with facility of modern operation theatre, outdoor and emergency facility, children and gynae ward, fully equipped laboratory and ail facilities needed for 100 bed hospital Chairman MICA has stated that construction of the hospital will start immediately after the availability of land and the hospital will be completed within the four months tune.
Chairman APCA stated that in the construction of the hospital the building code framed by the federal government and AJK government will be strictly followed rind adhered to Chairman APCA. stated that the recent earthquake has caused loss of human life, properties and resources beyond imagination in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Northern Areas of NWFP and that tile Association will use all resources to help the earthquake affectees.
