2 girls kidnapped from H-11 Tent Village recovered, abductors arrested

ISLAMABAD—Capital Cops has nabbed two boys who abducted young girls from H-11 Tent Village. According to details, On 13th November, some Syed Hussein Shah, resident of Pajnore Bandi, Muzaffarabad, lodged a complaint with PS Sabzi Mandi that he was currently residing in H-11 Tent Village, Tent 1-C set up for the quake victims. He stated that at 7:30 a.m. the other day, his daughter; Ruqia Bibi,18 year old, W/O Zafar Ali Shah, and her neighbour Kalsoom-ur-Rehman, D/O Abdur Rehman, 13-14 year old, went to the toilet. However, after a while when the ladies did not return, their families hunted them throughout the tents but to no avail. Hussein's statement held Samian Syed Wali and Syed Khan, serving at Al-Akhtar Trust as abductors of the two kids, who had lifted them with bad intentions. On his written complaint thus, a case was registered at PS Sabzi Mandi, under section 10-11/16.
Undertaking the gravity of the case, IGP and SSP Islamabad formulated an investigation team headed by SDPO Industrial Area; DSP Jameel Ahmad Hashmi, comprising of Zubair Ahmad Sheikh, SI Mabdur Rehmanand other cops' personnel which, taking the said case as a challenge, through day and night efforts, nabbed both suspects which undertaking their physical remand, respectively. In face of no worth undertaking evidence, took out all possible measures to solve the case.
All youngsters that were lost from H-11 Tent Village were undertaken from that day on while various camps set up for quake victims were thoroughly checked in case of any clue of the abducted kids but nothing looked up. Finally on 21st November, the cops came to know of Rashid alias Arshad, S/O Abdur-Rehman, resident of Logran, Balahattian, Muzaffarabad, AJK, around 20-21 years old and Waheed Ahmad alias Rashid, S/O Abdur Rehman, belonging to the same place, around 18-19 years of age, who were brothers. They were also lost from the same day the girls were abducted, from a camp of Al-Mustafa Trust.
The abductees' families were searched but no contact could be established with them. At last, through special sources, the word came out that the two brothers had rented out a house at Gujranwala. Thus the said place was raided here on 21st and the two culprits arrested. Both abducted girls were also recovered from the adjacent flat.
IGP and SSP Islamabad has highly appreciated the performance of the investigation team while announcing cash prizes and certificates of appreciation for them.
