said that opposition standing committee would meet soon to decide its
agenda to initiate anti-government drive. He was speaking to journalists

earthquake, but now after contemplating important relief aspects the
opposition has decide to start the movement soon. He said that torching
of Al-Badr Centre with its huge library of Holy Quran and other
religious materiel was a condemnable act, and opposition would raise
that issue in the National Assembly, because all important issues are
debatable in the Assembly.
He said that Karachi was the main industrial hub of the country and some
elements are deliberately trying to create discord and disturbances by
rekindling hatred and anger among various groups, in the metropolis. He
said that the educational Centre of Al-Badr was imparting education to
the poor and needy, on free basis. It had virtually no fee structure.

repeating such nefarious acts of violence and hatred. He demanded
government to take immediate effective steps against such elements.
Later, in a speech to the students, he strictly refrained them from
taking any harsh and destructive step in retaliation. He said that such
elements do not want Islam to progress as they are devoid of any
religious sentiments.

discouraging Islamic teachings.
