Jawad offers 10 free houses for AJK quake victims

ISLAMABAD—Popular Singer Mr. Jawad handed over the keys of fifty houses to the AJK PM; Sikandar Hayyat, in a meeting, here on Friday. Speaking at the occasion, the singer and social worker stated, “We have built 50 houses for quake victims out of which ten would be given free of cost.”
The price of a single house would be worth Rs.25000, each one consisting of a single room. He stated that these imported fiberglass houses would be setup in Bagh and Muzzafarabad.
AJK Prime Minister, Sikandar Hayyat on the other hand, said that his government was fully concentrating on rehabilitation and reconstruction. He condemned the blame of looting on the ministers adding that the guilty would be punished if proven. He said that he had requested the President Musharraf to allow the AJK quake affectees to stay here in the Capital for more than two months. He demanded ten thousand huge tents for schools. He appraised the decision of Musharraf in which he decided to demilitarized area. He assured that fiberglass city would be established in AJK affected areas within two weeks because the coming winter season could be havoc because of heavy snowfalls.
