PM, political leaders to observe Eid in quake hit areas

ISLAMABAD—Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Federals Ministers, Members Opposition parties and political leaders would offer their Eid prayers with the quake-affected peoples in different areas of Azad Kashmir and NWFP.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will offer his Eid prayers in Muzaffarabad and will distribute Eidee among the affectees.
On the directives of Prime Minister, Federal Ministers would offers their Eid prayers in different areas including Muzaffarabad, Rawlakot, Balakot and Bagh.
President Pakistan Muslim league Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain along with Senator Mushahid Hussain will offer their Eid prayers in Bagh.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain will offer his Eid prayers in Muzaffarabad and spend all day with affected people.
Liaquat Baloch, deputy parliamentary leader of the opposition will celebrate Eid in Bagh and relief camp coordinator Ex-Nazim Karachi Naimat Ullah Khan Niazi will observe his Eid in Balakot while Sayed Munawar Hussain will commemorate Eid in Mansehra.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed appealed to all peoples that they should celebrate Eid with austerity and simplicity and share their sorrow and grief with them.
The opposition party members will also spend their Eid day with quake-affected peoples.
On the directions of Chairman Pakistan People party (PPP) and Ex-President Benazir Bhutto, Vice Chairman PPP Makhdoom Amin Faheem and Raja Pervez Ashraf would offer their Eid prayers in Balakot while Jhangir Badar will observe his Eid with the people of Muzaffarabad and spend his whole day in the Benazir Bhutto tent village.
Meanwhile Jehangir Badar will distribute Eid gifts and warm shawls which were dispatched by daughter of Asif Ali Zardari.
Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Raja Pervez Akhtar would distribute Eidee whereas warm shawls for women folk were gifted by Asif Ali Zardari.
AJK PM Sardar Sikandar Hayat would also offer his Eid prayers at Police Ground in Muzaffarabad. The NWFP Governor Khalil-ur-Rehman will spend his Eid Day with the Earthquake affected people of the province. According to detail the Governor is expected to pay a special visit to Balakot on Eid Day and meet the respective people.
