Eid gifts sent to quake survivors

ISLAMABAD—National Logistic Cell and Pakistan Television have collected Eid Gifts from all over Pakistan under the Programme (Meri Eidi - Teri Eidi). NLC Trailers loaded with gifts collected from all over Pakistan were unloaded and repacked by Boy Scouts & Girl Guides on 2nd November, 2005 at Sports Complex Islamabad. Chief Commissioner, PBSA Mrs. Zobaida Jalal Federal Minister for Social Welfare & Special Education also visited and participated in this gifts packing activity and appreciated the voluntary spirits of Scouts & Guides.
On the occasion talking to the Media she appealed to the Scouts & Girl Guides of Pakistan to work with enthusiasm, donate their Eidis and Pocket Money to the fellow children of affected areas, to give them sense of being one Nation. About 300 Boy Scouts & Girl Guides along-with the Scout Leaders, Provincial Secretaries and the senior officials of National Headquarters, PBSA were also present there.
