Pakistan to get Swedish Radar system

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan is acquiring such aircrafts from Sweden that will be able to warn in advance against the coming aircrafts, BBC reported.
The aircrafts will be provided by a company called SAAD and this deal with Sweden is worth nearly one billion dollars, according to report.
It said that another company Airocson will be responsible for the communications system in these aircrafts.
When BBC contacted Deputy Director of the ISPR Air Commodore Sarfraz of Pakistan Air Force and sought details in this regard, he said that discussions for acquiring said aircrafts from Sweden have been concluded now but details have not yet been received.
Commodore Sarfraz said that he does not have details that SAAD will provide aircrafts and Airocson will equip them with Airborne radars.
About Airborne Radar, he observed Airborne Radar is early detection system and it will be for the detection of coming planes.—Online
