‘Youth playing vital role in helping quake victims’

ISLAMABAD—State Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Muhammad Ali Durrani has said Youth can play a major role to help the earthquake affectees come out from the effects of this natural calamity.
He urged the youth to come forward and play their due role and participate fully in relief activities of the earthquake affectees. He appreciated the volunteers who participated in the relief and rescue work specially Youths adding that their services for the humanity were admirable.
The government is providing all assistance to the youths and making a comprehensive plan to train them to participate in relief and rehabilitation efforts, he added.
He said the relief work was in full swing and the situation was in control. Rehabilitation and reconstruction work was going in the right direction, he added.
He said every possible help is being provided to the earth quake victims.
He thanked the International Community, Pak army, NGO's and youth for providing timely help to the quake affectees.
