Global Pharmaceutical contributes Rs60m for quake victims

ISLAMABAD—Like a number of national and international organisations, Global Pharmaceutical also took part in rescue and relief efforts for the earthquake victims and contributed so far Rs. 60 million.
Besides this amount, the staff of the company contributed their one-day salary to mitigate sufferings of the quake victims,said Director Global Pharmaceutical, Dr. Abid Ali here Sunday.
He said company's team also visited the quake-stricken areas and distributed relief goods including food, tents, blankets, daily amenities and clothing to the victims.
Since October 8, the company has been running a medical camp at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) where medicines and other necessities were being provided to the quake victims. He said the Global Pharmaceutical is making every effort to provide relief to the affectees and mitigate their ordeal in the disaster inflicted areas.
