FilmReview
By Uzma Zafar

For the viewers of Star Plus on Cable TV, anticipation for Koi Aap Sa would be more than those who prefer other channels for they’ve been getting brief titbits about the flick chipping in every other drama in addition to the fact that the star of Kavyanjali drama; Natasha, has played the lead role in the film. The good thing is that the only film that has come in since this Ramazan; Koi Aap Sa, has reached the local markets. But the bad thing is this that the print is too irritatingly bad.
Koi Aap Sa is the sweet, cozy tale of two buddies, a gal and a guy, set under the backdrop of college air. It’s when the guy falls in love with a hot chic and his buddy too is about to get married to her fiancé, that their normal lives go topsy-turvy. Rohan is too used to his best friend and then a gruesome accident ruins her life and he considers himself responsible for it and decides to stick around with her till the end, no matter the whole world throws fire on him.
Koi Aap Sa reminds one of Koi Mil Gaya and a couple of other flicks but while watching the film, Aftab’s casual act, Natasha’s utterly natural tomboy performance and Dipannita Sharma playing the sultry distraction, makes one forget all similarities where present and especially for the fact that the said characters’ latest act is totally different than what we’ve seen of them. In fact, it seems that they were made for the flick as there act’s so natural. The songs are cute too and ones that deeply touch the soul.
Have you fought with your best pal and want to make up? Well, watch Koi Aap Sa and it would revive and make you remember what your friendship truly means! Koi Aap Sa is a fairytale that we all need to watch, every once in a while and especially at this time when we all are tense over the earthquake tragedy. Koi Aap Sa is bound to lift the spirits for a while!
