Roads cleared in quake-hit areas: ISPR

PESHAWAR—Pakistan armed forces have cleared most of the roads that were closed due to land sliding in the quake affected areas, says an ISPR press release issued here Friday. Opening of roads would speed up the much needed rescue and relief activities for the rehabilitation of the affected people.Hectic efforts are underway for clearing of Ghanool to Paras Kaghan road, reads the press release. Clearance of roads has expedited transportation of relief goods to the affected areas besides improving medical assistance to those who sustained injuries in the killer earthquake.—PR
