MOSCOW—Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Iranian First Vice President Perviz Daudi on Wednesday discussed the proposed Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project and vowed to carry it forward for the benefit of the participating countries.

He said Pakistan would appreciate if tents and blankets were rushed in for the people living up on the mountains and the incoming winters.
The Iranian Vice President assured that Iran would send further assistance to the quake affected areas of Pakistan.
Referring to Iran’s nuclear programme, Prime Minister Aziz said Pakistan was against nuclear proliferation, but recognised that every country had a right to acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, under the IAEA guidelines.
