Indian delegation to arrive to discuss LoC opening

ISLAMABAD—An Indian delegation, will arrive in Pakistan on October 28 to discuss with Pakistan the formal proposal conveyed to the Government of India for the two way movement of Kashmiris. According to a statement by the Foreign Office, the Indian delegation headed by the Joint Secretary (PAI), in the Ministry of External Affairs will discuss with Pakistani officials the proposals earlier forwarded to the Indian Government.
Pakistan urged India on Sunday to accept a proposal to create five crossing points for Kashmiris to freely carry relief goods to either side, following an offer from New Delhi to open aid camps for earthquake victims on its side of divided Kashmir. “The ball is in India’s court,” Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed told an international news agency. “We hope India will make the right decision”.—APP
