Bootlegger arrested, 20 beer
cans, 48 wine bottles recovered

ISLAMABAD—During routine patrol at the Islamabad Highway, PS Shehzad
Town recovered 20 beer cans along 48 wine bottles from some Salaamat
Maseeh. A case has been registered against accused, accordingly.
Goats stolen
Atiq-ur-Rehman was walking his goats around Aqab Carriage Factory when
the time for Zuhr prayers came. Thus he left his goats there and when
returned to fetch them, the 3 goats worth Rs.30,000 were gone. A case
has been registered at PS Sabzi Mandi, accordingly.
Forgery
PS Sabzi Mandi held a Toyota Hiace; R-0338 Sukkur, 1988 model, on
suspicion. When checked in the laboratory, the chassis number of the car
was found too be tampered. A case has been registered, accordingly.
Illicit arms recovered
During routine patrol at Dhrek Chauhry Chowk, PS Golra recovered a
30-bore pistol along 2 bullets without licence, from some Naseer Ahmad.
In another incident, during routine patrol at I-8/4, Faizabad bus stop,
PS Industrial Area recovered an unlicensed 30-bore pistol along 3
bullets from Nawaz Khan. A case has been registered against accused,
accordingly.
Vehicle lifted
Muhammad Naveed's Suzuki Pick-Up; CH/686, 1985 model worth Rs.75,000,
was lifted from G-6/1-3, in front of WAPDA office. A case has been
registered at PS Aabpara, respectively.
Threatened
Ghulam Bashir was going along his friends; Abdul Bashir and Safeer on
Suzuki when around Dhok Chhawala, Karib armed with a pistol, Altaf
carrying a rod along two others, jumped out of the bushes and attacked
their vehicle, bursting the tire with a shot and breaking the windshield
in the process. The culprits then threatened the former. A case has been
registered at PS Bara Kaho, accordingly.
Stolen pistol recovered
Muhammad Tariq, supervisor at Al-Zarar Security Company, reported that
security guard; Muhammad Muneer, had fled with a 30-bore pistol from the
office. On probe, the weapon was recovered from the accused. A case has
been registered against accused, at PS Kohsar, respectively.
Stolen goats recovered
2 stolen goats of Asif Ali, worth Rs.20,000, were recovered from accused
Nazar Khan. A case has been registered at PS Sabzi Mandi, respectively. |
