Offers trained personnel for relief efforts
By Uzma Zafar

ISLAMABAD—Chairman IHH-the Foundation for Human Rights and Humanitarian Relief, hailed Pak government’s decision of not letting any individual ore country adopt unattended children. “Whenever there’s a human tragedy, organ mafia takes over. But Pak government’s initiative of not permitting adoption of unattended kids has entirely hindered all possible efforts of the clan for using crippled kids for begging and human smuggling.”
These views were stated by Bulent Yildrim; Chairman IHH, while addressing a press conference at Community Center, Aabpara, with regard to the ongoing relief efforts being extended by his organization and Khubaib Foundation, here this Sunday. Federal Minister of State for Interior; Shahzad Waseem, was also present at the occasion.

Comparing the situation at hand with Tsunami disaster, he said that the later was water-related and had no inaccessible areas but the earthquake in Pakistan, especially AJK, told a completely different story and posed a much greater challenge for everybody.
He said that the international rescuers would depart in a while but Pak government needs to keep the earthquake survivors close and under constant care so that the victims can be rehabilitated affectively and do not die of draught or cold. He said that it was good behaviour on the part of Pakistan to disallow adoption of unattended kids and every little kid and poorest of all at Turkey are all out for aiding Pakistanis. Quake victim women at risk
By U.Zee

ISLAMABAD-The lucky survivor women of the earthquake and children are undergoing another challenge these days. Where word is that the beggar clan has already spotted many crippled and unattended kids undergoing medical treatment, there the women are at a greater risk.
Just yesterday, at Community Center, Aabpara, a couple of girls were seen moving around, representing themselves as from the media, attending the press briefing about relief activities of some Turkish NGO. They neither had any stationary in hand, nor knew anybody in the media. Moreover, their actions remained quite suspicious.
When asked by the local media where they were taking away the female victims of earthquake, they said that it was a place where only females could go and refused to comment further. It apparently seems and sources have confirmed that many lady quake victims are being entrapped into hefty sum of money through illicit trades. Similar tips have been received from other camp hospitals while at PIMS, certain women were tried to abduct as well.
It is thus requested that the government should strengthen the security of the quake victims settled within the Capital so that any possible attempts of beggary or flesh trade could be countered before these evils manage to establish their claws in our society, and start strengthening the hands of those already engaged in such professions!
