NGOs taking active part in relief efforts

ISLAMABAD—Since Pakistan is expererined the history's worst earthquake in Kashmir and other Northern parts of the country which took thousands of lives and displaced millions of people. This is considered world history's biggest loss and damage of millions of properties. How ever at the time of crisis we have seen a great response of many NGOs and international community to address the problems of people in crisis.
Interfaith League Against Poverty (ILAP) is non-governmental organization who have started assessment and also distributed relief packages to two areas Balakot and Muzaffarabad.
ILAP through its partners " Samaritan Purse " USA based is committed to assist these communities through tents, blankets, tarpaulin, food, water purification and reconstruction so their houses.
Dr. Paul, Mr. Geoff, Ms Janny and Mr. Mick the member of Samaritan showed their confidence on the team of ILAP in a conference who was held in ILAP office.
They also informed the newsmen that Samaritan Purse is bringing a Plane in Pakistan and will be distributing the goods through ILAP.
The Executive Director of ILAP said that we are trying our best to reach out those areas where there is no relief work is yet gone. The delegation said we are with Pakistani people in the difficult time and hope that we may continue the work even after relief and do their best to help them out to build their homes again.
