Twinkle Khanna opens new furniture shop

BOMBAY—Twinkle Khanna launched The White Window in Bandra’s Ambedkar Road on October 13. Spaced over 2000 sq. ft, the shop sells exclusive furnishings, decorative and gift items. Now we also sell crockery especially designed by us. Some of the crockery has been imported from abroad. But all of it is exclusive,” Twinkle informs. She adds, “The shop also has a mezzanine floor that has an exclusive collection of bed linen.”
“The White Window at Lokhandawala was doing extremely well, business wise, even though it was situated on the fifth floor. This one faces the road, so I expect to do really good business.” Twinkle said that her team of workers also work as interior decoration consultants. “If someone wants to consult us about the decoration of just a part of their home like the living room or the dining room or the bedroom, one of my team mate will visit their home and give the necessary suggestion for an affordable sum of Rs 3,000. The amount can be redeemed for any decorative item or furnishing in my store,” she says.
Twinkle adds that this scheme has really worked well with people who cannot afford expensive interior decorators. Twinkle plans to broaden her business by launching The White Window outside Mumbai city. “I am planning to do something similar down South. Of course, later I plan to extend my business abroad too,” she smiles.—Agencies
