England Cricket team’s tour to Pakistan
ECB to send 3 Security officials to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD—Despite tall assurances by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to provide optimum security to English team, England and Whales Cricket Board (ECB) have decided to send three security officers along with England cricket team for the tour of Pakistan.
Reliable sources reveal that England and Whales Cricket Board are still not satisfied with security of England team so they have decided to take services of a private security firm. The three experts of the Security firm will accompany England team during their eight week tour to Pakistan that consists three test matches and 5 ODIs.
The England team is due to visit Pakistan for a full fledge series on October 26 comprising three security officials besides 14 other officials during their stay in Pakistan.
It has been told that the Security officials from England will review the security arrangements at every center and hotel and will be in direct contact with Sohail Khan, Senior Police Officer of Lahore.
During their stay in Pakistan England team will be guarded by police commandos while police dressed in plain clothes and other law enforcement agencies will be deployed in and outside the stadium for the protection and safeguard of English players.
On the other hand, Interior Ministry has prepared a foul proof security plan for the visiting team in Pakistan.
The England team will have the services of Security Experts who will be with them from one center to another for their full protection in view to avoid happening of any untoward incident.
Before the arrival of players out of three security officials two will reach the city where the team will be playing their match 24 hours earlier to review the security situation.
England is scheduled to play matches in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi respectively.
The team will have a short stay in the controversial city Karachi. It is pertinent to mention that this is for the first time that fourteen officials of any foreign visiting country is coming to Pakistan.
