alive in rubbles after ten days
BALAKOT—Rescuers of army on Tuesday saved a five year-old girl child
alive, on tenth day of the massive earthquake that devastated several
parts of country. According to local TV, ISPR representative in the area
Major Murad said that army team was busy in rescue operations in upper
areas of Balakot when a woman informed them that she heard a scream of a
girl in Hisa area.
Rescue team immediately recovered the five year-old Tajun Nisa alive
from the debris who later shifted to Army medical camp for treatment of
minor injuries. Two bodies have been also recovered from the rubbles.
Pakistan Army’s rescue team retrieved a five year-old girl alive
underneath rubble of a collapsed building, after tenth day of the deadly
earthquake that hit Azad Kashmir and other parts of Pakistan on October
8.
The in charge of relief operation Major Murad, while talking to a
private television channel said that army team was engaged in rescue
operations in upper areas of Balakot, when they came to know through a
woman that a girl trapped under the debris was screaming for help.
Acting on the information rescue team immediately reached the pointed
site at Hisba area and recovered the five year-old Tajun Nisa alive from
the debris. The girl had minor scratches on her body, later she was
shifted to army medical camp for treatment. Two bodies were also
recovered from the rubbles.—INP |
