Qatar Charity Int’l donates relief goods worth Rs5m for quake victims

ISLAMABAD—A delegation of Qatar Charity International Doha Qatar on Sunday has handed over to minister for social welfare and special education, Zubaida Jalal relief material worth Rs 5 million for earthquake victims.
Chairman National Council of Social Welfare Raees Jahangir Ahmad was also present on the occasion. The relief goods include tents, blankets, medicines and eatables.
Abdullah bin Huassain ul Naeemi, director of Qatar Charity International fund told the federal minister that people of Qatar stand beside people of Pakistan in this hour of test. Assistance of all sorts will be provided to the affectees.
Raees Jahangir Ahmad told that National council of social welfare has reactivated all the social organisations across the country and these efforts are yielding far reaching results. Social workers and organisations are ensuring full participation in the relief activities. National council is making all our efforts to assist the quake affected people.
He appealed to the people to take active part in the relief campaign to contribute to the rehabilitation work for the quake devastated areas.
