Relief
operation to go till it ends: Rapid-UK

 ISLAMABAD—”We
would continue the rescue operation till the end”, stated still hopeful
and ever optimistic Rapid-UK rescuer Graham Toynie when The Daily Mail
inquired about the rescue situation at the Margalla Towers site, here
this Friday. Another of the clan brought out a rescue dog stating that
the two dogs that the team has brought in has a great role to play in
the overall efforts at hand. Moreover, Graham further held, “We have
identified parts of the building that we would operate upon and would
start work on it soon.”
On the other hand, of the medical staffers at PIMS; Ismaeel Jalil,
stated that 5 dead bodies including 3 males and 2 females, were
recovered Friday morning while the chances of survivors were impossible.
Dead bodies had been identified and were being taken out from time to
time, he explained. Relief efforts on the other hand, are high and
everywhere one goes, the masses are contributing goods to the quake
affectees.
Combined prayers were offered for the souls of the ones died in the
quake at various mosques, on the other hand as well as for the
survivors’ better plight. At the Imran Khan camp set up for the quake
affectees at F-10 Markaz, Colonel Yusuf briefed that all efforts were
being made to bring home relief to the survivors of Muzaffarrabad and
Balakot and relief items were also being stored at E-7, for further aid.
