Education Department to send relief goods to affected areas

RAWALPINDI—Education Department Punjab has given a target to all districts across the province to collect relief goods so that it can be send to quake affected areas in next three days.
In view to help the victims of earthquake, Punjab government has launched a special relief campaign in which it has directed all teachers and concerned organizations to collect Atta, rice, cereals, blankets, disposable mineral water, clothes, sugar, spices within three days so that they can be send to shattered areas at the earliest.
It must be mentioned that October 13 is the last date for collection of things. The relief goods will be handed over to Punjab government. Meanwhile 100 trucks loaded with relief goods will be then send to affected areas officially.—Online
