'Ukraine to offer mobile hospital, relief goods worth $2m

RAWALPINDI—The ambassador of Ukraine to Pakistan, Dr Igor Polikha, has said that his government will soon send a mobile hospital and relief goods worth of 2 million US dollar for the earthquake victims.
He conveyed this offer to Senior Federal Minister and Minister of Defence, Rao Sikandar Iqbal and Minister of State for Defence Zahid Hamid during a meeting here on Thursday.
The ambassador told the Ministers that the government and people of Ukraine had deeply grieved and shocked over the loss of precious human lives and colossal damage to the properties caused by the sever earthquake. He said that his government would extend all possible humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the earthquake.
The envoy informed the Ministers that mobile hospital would stay for one month in Pakistan so as to provide medical assistance to the people injured in the earthquake. Both the ministers thanked the ambassador for helping Pakistan in this critical time.
