Masses contributing zealously in quake funds

ISLAMABAD—National and International agencies from government, public and private sectors are zealously participating in the relief and rescue work physically as well as contributing logistic means, medicines, tents, food and blankets.
Chinese North Industries Corporation donated US Dollars 300,000. The representative of the Corporation announced the donation in a meeting with Pakistani Ambassador in Beijing Mr. Salman Bashir.
Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has dispatched second consignment of relief goods to calamity-affected areas.
The four truck convoy fo relief goods include medicines, blankets, quilts, mats, food item such as biscuits, powder milk, dates which has been sent to Muzaffarabad.
It may be added that PTA has already sent relief goods to Mansehra and Abbotabad and contributed Rs. 200 million in the “President Relief Fund for Earthquake Victims” for the rehabilitation of affectees.
The Punjab Employees Social Security Institution has dispatched two medical teams consisting of ten doctors which includes orthopaedics Surgeon, cardiologists, anaesthetists,
Physicians and 14 Para Medics staff and two ambulances containing medicines worth Rs. 1 million to the earthquake victims of Muzaffarabad & Mansehra.
