Senators to donate one month salary for earthquake victims

ISLAMABAD—Chairman Senate, Mr. Mohammedmian Soomro in consultation with Leader of the House in the Senate, Mr. Wasim Sajjad, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Mr. Raza Rabbani and other party leaders in the Senate has decided that all Senators will contribute their one month’s salary in the Senate Emergency Relief Fund to show solidarity with the earthquake victims. The donation will be used for providing relief goods particularly medicines to the affectees of this calamity. The Senators would also visit affected areas and distribute the goods and medicines personally to the affected people.—Agencies
