ATC Sukkur judge appointed on orders of CJP on public complaints

ISLAMABAD—On the directions of Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry the provincial government appointed judge of ATC court at Sukkur.
The CJP taking serious notice of public complaints due to non-availability of judge in anti-terrorism court at Sukkur took the decision of appointing the new judge.
The chief justice directed the chief secretary, Sindh to solve the matter within 7-day to redress the public grievances.
The provincial government appointed judge of ATC court at Sukkur. There were some 125 criminal cases pending before the ATC court and the parties involved and lawyers were also complaining for the delay of their cases.
The people addressed their grievances with chief justice of Pakistan who took notice to provide relief to the suffering citizens and a new ATC judge was appointed to ensure provision of speedy and timely justice to the people.
