Sherpao urges masses to join hands in rescue operation

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Interior Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has urged the community to join hands with government in relief activities for the individuals affected by the earthquake.
Minister stated this while talking to journalists in F-10 Markaz at the spot of the Margalla tower that was hit by the earthquake here on Saturday.
Minister said that hundred causalities had occurred throughout the country by the earthquake and it is likely to increase the death toll as many injured were in serious conditions that had been admitted in the various hospitals.
He expressed over the casualties of the people due to earthquake and said that many agencies were engaged in recovering the people from the rubble and urged the people to come forward to help the affected people.
He expressed satisfaction over the relief activities and hoped that the individuals under the wreck would be recovered soon.
