3 killed in NWA rocket attack

MIRANSHAH—Unidentified miscreants Thursday fired rockets and missiles at Security forces base in Ditta Khel area, N. Waziristan, one of rockets hit a nearby house, killing three member of a family.
A volley of rockets and missiles were fired at a security forces camp early morning, on retaliation by security forces, gun battle between attackers and forces continued for an hour, causing no loss of life from either side.
A rocket also hit a house adjacent to camp, which claimed lives of three members of a family including owner of house Muhammad Jahan and his daughter. Rocket attacks caused heavy loss to the citadel.
Political administration had declared Fida Khel Tribe responsible of the attack and served them with a notice to hand over the perpetrator of attacks.
Atleast three citizens Thursday were killed when unknown terrorists fired missiles at an FC official fort here in North Waziristan.
According to details, unknown terrorists attacked a FC official Port with rockets and missiles the other night in the area of Data Khel in North Waziristan.
The fort was completely destroyed as the rockets were very powerful.
Three citizens including Muhammad Janan, his son and daughter died as rocket fell in their house.
It must be mentioned here that despite tall claims by administration concerned to keep a tight security, such incidents are still going on in North Waziristan.—Agencies
