4 offloaded for forged documentation

ISLAMABAD—FIA Immigration Wing offloaded four from Islamabad Airport, here this Thursday, for carrying forged documentation. Muhammad Imran, Akhtar Ali, Naveed Iqbal and Zaheer Ahmad were offloaded and sent to Passport Cell where further investigation is underway.
According to details, Muhammad Imran, S/O Abdul Lateef, was headed towards Dubai on EK-615 with fake endorsement stamp on his travel documents. Akhtar Ali, S/O Zarjan, resident of Swat, was off on GF-771 on fake Malaysian passport and forged endorsement stamp. Thus the two were offloaded and sent to Passport Cell for further probe.
Naveed Iqbal, S/O Muhammad Iqbal, was off to Switzerland on QR-399 on forged visa documents. Zaheer Ahmad, S/O Shabeer Ahmad, was on the same flight, headed towards the same destination, also travelling on fake visa documents. Thus the two were also offloaded and sent to Passport Cell from further investigation is underway.

NH&MP foils dacoity bid, recover illicit arms

National Highways & Motorway Police has busted a gang of criminals who were on their way for a big dacoity near Kamoke. Heavy quantity of illegal ammunition has also been recovered from the dacoits.
As per details, Motorway Police Officers saw a White Suzuki Mehran car, bearing No.LZU-6305, near Kamoke, whose rear number plate was covered with mud. Considering the said car doubtful, Motorway Police officers signalled the driver to stop the car. While stopping the car, one culprit Mr. Shahbaz S/O Ashiq Hussain fled away taking advantage of darkness of the night. However, four other culprits named Saeed Ahmed S/O Muhammad Inayat, Liaquat Ali S/O Muhammad Inayat, Babar Ali S/O Shabbir Umar and Pervez Akhtar S/O Muammad Hussain, residents of Gujranwala, were arrested.
The Motorway Police also recovered three illegal pistols along with heavy quantity of unshot rounds and 03 daggers from the custody of the culprits. It also came to notice that the car was hired from Gujranwala on rent. Later on, the dacoits, car and the illegal ammunition were handed over to the local police for further legal action. The Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police Ahmed Nasim has appreciated the performance of the officers who took part in the operation.
