‘Pak-Saudi Business Forum in offing’

ISLAMABAD—The President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abdul Rauf in a meeting with Mr. Ali S. Awadh Asseri exchanging views, said that Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry would hold a “Pak-Saudi Business Forum” in which a large number of prominent businessmen and representatives of all Chambers shall be invited.
He said this forum would provide opportunity to the businessmen of the both countries to discuss and share their experiences for the improvement of trade relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The President said, it would also help accelerate the present trade activity and enhance the trade volume. Mr. Abdul Rauf said that the trade delegations would be exchanged so that businessmen could understand market situation and opportunities in each country. The President invited the Ambassador to visit the Islamabad Chamber to address the business community.
The Saudi Ambassador stressed on the need to improve the trade in the Islamic block. He said that the visits of trade delegations are very important and expressed that Shah Abdullah has great respect for Pakistan. He said that arrangements are being made to grant business visas to Pakistani businessmen within 3-days. He said that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are doing efforts to curb extremism and terrorism.
