Ballot for Hajj 2006 unveiled

ISLAMABAD—Ministry for Religious Affairs Zakat and Ushr has announced the Hajj ballot. Minister for Religious Affairs Ijaz-ul-Haq, Minister of State for Religious Affairs Dr.Amer Liaqat and secretary Religious Affairs took part in this balloting and announced the package on the Monday night in his Ministry.
State minister Dr. Amer Liaqat started the balloting from the seven digital numbers, which has been spoken from the spectators.
Mr. Ijaz-ul-Haq said on the occasion that Hajj policy has been accepted on 11th July 2005 and according to the Government scheme and private scheme the application has been received till to the 15th August 2005. Under the government scheme 138656 applications has been received and 90 thousand people would pray their Hajj under the government scheme in the light of the Prime Minister decision.
Minister said that those people have been chosen with out any balloting, which were failure in the last two terms. The Minister announced the 500 lab our and 150 quota for the Hajj foundation. Minister announced the website www.hajjinfo.org for the balloting announced result.
