Government focusing on training of employees: Rozina

ISLAMABAD—Parliamentary Secretary Statistics Division, Dr.Rozina Tufail Monday underscored the need for training and capacity building of the government employees on the modern scientific lines, in order to improve the efficiency and performance of the organizations.
She stated this while inaugurating a two-week training course on 'Statistical Package for Social Sciences' (SPSS) here in the training institute of Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) today.
Secretary Statistics Division, Asad Elahi, and Vice Principal of the Institute Ms.Rashida Bokhari also spoke on the occasion.
Dr.Rozina Tufail while highlighting the importance of Information technology said that the computer training would be provided to every staff and officers of the organization in order to make them meet their modern day challenges.
Secretary Parliamentary Affairs and Statistics Division, Dr. Rozina Tufail also called for enhancement of jobs quota for women in the organization.
She said that training and skill development of statistical officers is necessary to meet the future challenges. bShe appreciated the efforts of Secretary Statistics Division Asad Elahi for the development of organization.
Asad Ellahi in his remarks highlighted the steps taken by the organization for the skill development of the staff and the officers.
The Vice Principal of FBS Training Institute Ms.Rashida Bokhari presented the profile of the institute and training courses conducted by the organization to enhance the skills of the staff of the organization.
